Allison grew up in Northern Virginia. She earned a B.S in Forensic Chemistry from West Virginia University, where she conducted research under Dr. Tatiana Trejos using elemental analysis techniques to characterize various polymer evidence. In her free time, Allison enjoys crocheting, baking, playing with her cat and going on hikes.
